Lean Startup

The lean startup approach implies that for building new businesses, a team needs to research, test and iterate while developing new products. By doing so, entrepreneurs should start their ventures by searching for business models and then immediately test their ideas. By using customer feedback, ideas can be transformed and adjusted while moving forward with the product.

Commonly this leads to products, that customers actually want and need instead of developing untested ideas. The concept itself was developed by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Steve Blank and Eric Ries and later on promoted by early adopters including Sharethrough co-founder and CTO Rob Fan.
